Graduate Studentship
Every year, our department offers 4 graduate (PhD) fellowships for Fall admission. Applications are due in early January. Please reach out to me if you are interested in developing research ideas together! Graduate students in my lab are involved in highly collaborative projects under a strong support from within and outside the Department. My goal as a PI is to provide you with a broad training experience, in both scientific and professional development.


​Undergraduate Research
Practical research experience is the gateway to rewarding careers in science (e.g. academia, industry, medicine). Individuals motivated to strengthen their scientific thinking and techniques are welcome to inquire for opportunities. We routinely take in undergraduate students, several have been awarded competitive UF scholarships (Emerging Scholars, University Scholars) and have contributed to high impact publications. A majority of our undergraduate alumni have proceeded to their desired graduate, medical, veterinary, or dental programs.
